Happy Halloween 2010!

On PlayStation Home, we had a pumpkin-themed Central Plaza. Even though it wasn't night time and everyone really hoped it would be, it was still a very nice event. 

Users could play the "Lord Pumpkinhead" mini-game that took place in the Plaza's pond. The game was fairly easy, just toss coins into Lord Pumpkinhead's mouth and watch him became happy - Also unlocking a full punpkin outfit at the same time!

PlayStation Move Event space

The PlayStation Move event space, very unique and very fun. Users had to work together as teams to search for the Emote pop-ups. Each team member had to do the same Emote inorder to continue on in this event. The prizes, full PlayStation Move costumes!

If you looked closely, you could see there were PlayStation Eye toys all around the space..

AlphabeTees

The AlphabeTees stand that was in the Central Plaza. On the Jumbotron behind this stand was random Questions, that users had to spell out the answers for using only the t-shirts provided from them. Each user could snap a picture of them revealing the answer then click on this stand to submit the images directly to them. The winner(s) would get their pictures on the screen above!

E3 2010 on Home

Here is an overhead view of the E3 space that hit PlayStation Home on June 15th. This was space was very unique as it was created after the Real E3 expo!

The freebie E3 body suit. Most users might not know this but, the Home Community Specialist, GlassWalls helped design the E3 suit we all had a chance to unlock! 

As you went upstairs, you could see thie giant PS3 controller off to the side.

The Midway Tele-Porta-Potty

The Midway's Tele-Porta-Potty! Around Canada-Day and the 4th of july, users could see this Tele-porta-potty for users to sit in, and teleport right to the Midway carnival space!

Playground Subway 6/18/10

I took this picture of the Playground Underground tunnel on 6.18.10 in the Central Plaza. This tunnel directed users right to the Playground location on PlayStation Home.

Tester Winner on Home! 6/7/10

Many of you who watched the first season of the PlayStation Network show "The Tester" should know is in this image below. The winner of the Tester season one was UNCyrus, he also got a very exclusive PlayStation Home item so others can easily identify him around Home. Here is a picture of the newest PlayStation game tester, UNCyrus on Home:

Saint Patricks Day 3/11/10

For saint Patricks Day 2010, the Home Central Plaza was decorated with all kinds of Rainbows and Gold pots around the Central Plaza as seen in these pictures..

EA Sports Gate 3/11/10

EA Sports had a gateway in the Central Plaza that lead users to the EA Sports location. Here is a picture of what the EA Sports Gateway looked like..

Make.Believe Home Event!

Make.Believe had a special event on PlayStation Home. As seen in the image below, there were these dark blue orbs found in the Central Plaza. When clicking to play users would get a riddle, leading them to a random location found in Home. Once the player found the location of the new orb they would see a screen pop-up showing a clip of Make.Believe. I hope we see more events like this.

Valentines Day 2010

During Vamentines Day 2010 in PlayStation Home, we had this Heart-shaped Photobooth in the PlayStation Home Mall, where users could sit in, then invite anyone who was in that server to join-them for a be-mine Valentines theme card. This picture was saved to their HDD in the PlayStation Home folder, just like anyother image taken on Home. Here is what it looked like..

On the front of the heart you might notice a few pictures, in those pictures we can see CydoniaX, Locust_Star and GlassWalls! I thought that was pretty nice seeing them ont he front. The Home management team would take time and join Home members in this Photobooth, very cool!

Happy New Years '09

Happy New Years!

On the last day of 2009 in PlayStation Home, users had the chance to watch the New Years ball drop brining the new year of 2010! Users who were there also got a free reward right at midnight. Here is a picture of the New Years ball during the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010!

SodiumOne Gate 12/20/09

Here is the Gate that lead users who dare enter to the world of SodiumOne! This gateway was once in the Central Plaza located near the bowling ally. Take a look:

Merry Christmas '09 - 12/10/09

During Christmas 2009, the home team brought us a very nice festival Tree with free rewards found under the tree. What made this event special was users had a chance to win older freebies that were no longer around.

PSPGo & Giant Turkey Idol - 11/27/09

Back during Nov, 2009 on PlayStation Home, we had this gigantic Turkey Idol standing in the pond. To answer your question early, No the ship was not shooting at the Turkey idol. We had these rockets that would randomly fly into the Plaza from behind the Mall, the ship would shoot a beam causing them to explode!

Lost Planet Mech! - 10/21/09

Back in 2009, PlayStation®Home had this giant Lost Planet Mech, it stood about 20' feet high and looked ever so deadly! Here are some of the images I took back in the day. Notice how big this was? I remember standing around with other Home users wishing we could hop into this machine and joy-ride around the Central Plaza! Ah.. fun times!

Not sure how many of you guys were here back in 2009, most of the people I know joined around this time.
